1) complete the following table: The author could have avoided taking drugs     if she had known better.       2) talk to your classmate(s) about how you should avoid doing things that appear to be pleasant at first but will turn out to be really harmful. You may talk about drug abuse, smoking, alcoholism, addiction to computer games, etc.
