processes are between material processes and mental processes. Saying
something is both a physical action and a mental activity. There is a participant
involved in any verbal process --- the Sayer.
Typically the sayer is human (or something personified). There can be another
participant involved, the Receiver,
typically also human. The message is called the verbiage.
