American Cities

Certain American cities are known throughout the world as tourist attractions. I have lived in some of those cities and visited others.

One of my favorite cities is Los Angeles. I did my Master's Degree in LA, as Los Angeles is called, in California.

Los Angeles is a beautiful city. The nice seashore and the mountains in the back make the city very scenic. It also has nice weather. It's often dry, and you don't feel hot or humid. As a result, Los Angeles has many delicious fruits.

Another favorite city of mine is Washington, DC. DC stands for the District of Columbia, the capital of the US. Washington is actually a very small city for capital of a western country. The city measures only 16 square miles. And of course, being the capital of the US, Washington has all the attractions of any major city: historical sites, concerts, museums, parks, etc.

Las Vegas is one of my favorite places to visit. It's the gambling capital of the US. I like the city because it never sleeps. When you're in Los Vegas, you can't tell day from night. And the bright lights make the city seem beautiful and exciting at night.

San Francisco is the most attractive city for Asians because it has the largest Asian population in the US. It's a beautiful city, many people of the architecture, the hills and the sea. The weather is also interesting. San Francisco is neither too hot or cold. The weather doesn't change that much.

Miami, one of the most southern cities in the US, is quite different. It has a very warm winter, so it's popular in the winter as a tourist resort. But summers are hot and humid. This is much like the south of China.
