介词with作为状语的几点用法
1． 表方式： He was sitting in a chair with his hands folded.
These words should be used with caution. Knowledge begins
with practice. Kill two birds with one stone.
2． 表原因： At the news we all jumped with joy. He was trembling
with fear.
3． 表伴随： Temperatures vary with the change of the season.
The feeling had deepened with the passing of the year.
4． 表让步： With all his shortcomings, he was a conscientious
teacher.
某些动词的虚拟语气用法
1. wish后的宾语从句中的谓语用过去时： She wishes
that her pronunciation were as good as you. I wish I remembered
her address.
2． would rather (sooner), had rather后的宾语从句中的谓语用过去时： I would
rather they came tomorrow. I had rather you told him than
I did.
3．suggest, order, demand, propose, command, request, desire,
insist等动词后的宾语从句中的谓语动词应为(should+)动词原形: He proposed that we
set a deadline for handing in the thesis. They requested
that we (should) send a delegation to their country.
4. 上面的动词构成的结构，如：it is suggested, it is requested, it is
important, it is necessary等后的表语从句，从句中的谓语动词应为 (should + )
动词原形: It is desired that we (should) get everything ready
by tonight. It has been that the meeting be postponed till
next Saturday.
5. 以上面的动词转化成的名词，如：suggestion, motion, proposal, order, recommendations,
plan等后的从句中的谓语动词应为( should + ) 动词原形: My idea is that we challenge
the other groups to a friendly competition. The orders were
that we stay where we were.
