1. Traffic is one of the essential activities for all the big cities in China. Each day, by various means of transportation, heavy loads of goods and a great number of passengers are conveyed to and from every corner of the cities. Traffic jams during rush hours, bus delays are a way of life with the citizens. In addition, traffic accidents occur with alarming frequency. With the modernization drive in full wring（全力进行）, traffic is getting increasingly important for the cities life. What a mess the cities would be, if it were out of action even for a minute!
